“The Book of Henry” came out on June 16th, 2017. This movie is a drama crime film, and is rated PG-13.

“The Book of Henry” is the story of an 11 year old boy, Henry, and his family. Henry decides to help the girl who lives next door, Christina, who he suspects is being abused.  Henry is a boy with a big heart and chooses to show his concern for others, so when he notices his neighbor needs help, he rises to the occasion. When tragedy occurs to Henry’s family, and his mother decides to do what Henry would want and save Christina, no matter the cost. Henry ends up leaving a legacy for years to come that will warm the heart of any viewer. 

This movie is definitely sad, and will cause viewers tears. When the tragedy hits, viewers will be able to  feel the family’s pain. “The Book of Henry” has multiple scenes that will get you crying.

The cast of “The Book of Henry” is very talented, and well fit for their roles. Considering 3 of the lead roles are children, the actors and actresses are very good at showing the audience who their characters are as people.

“The Book of Henry” is a very dramatic and well told story. It leaves you thinking about the characters long after the movie ends. This movie is an emotional roller coaster. It makes you happy and sad, laugh and cry, hate and love the characters; “The Book of Henry” draws you in and doesn’t let go.

I highly recommend “The Book of Henry” to anyone interested in a great story that really shows the meaning of family.
